Corvay Bioproducts was founded in Halle at the end of 2018 and is now based in Cologne on the BioCampus. The founding team of former board members and managing directors from the chemical industry has excellent global knowledge of both the markets for biotechnologically produced specialty chemicals and bioprocess engineering. The company specializes in the development of innovative bioprocesses and their scaling up to pilot, demonstration and production scale. It has know-how, patents and production processes for the biotechnological production of long-chain dicarboxylic acids, in particular 100% bio-dodecanedioic acid (DDDA), an attractive raw material for the plastics, adhesives, coatings and perfume industries. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Long-chain dicarboxylic acids<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Corvay Bioproducts has acquired patents and production strains as well as process protocols for the production of long-chain diacids from vegetable fatty acids and has developed and filed patents for further proprietary know-how for processing and purification.
